To work with and support the Technical Manager in ensuring food safety compliance within the business, predominantly focusing on administrative tasks.\n\nReporting to the Technical Manager, responsibilities for the role will include:\n\n * Efficiently handling and managing all customer complaints, liaising with suppliers and customers\n\n * Assisting with implementation and maintenance of the BRCGS Storage and Distribution accreditation\n\n * Carrying out finished goods product checks against artwork or product specification at goods intake\n\n * Organising samples for product testing\n\n * Process control paperwork\n\n * Actioning customer requests related to product details in a timely manner\n\nEssential / Desirable skills include:\n\n * Degree in Food/Nutrition/Product Development or similar\n\n * Great attention to detail and accuracy\n\n * Good written and verbal communication skills.\n\n * Can-do attitude\n\n * Proven IT skills and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office\n\n * Understanding or experience of BRC requirements.\n\nThe Company:\n\n * Well established business with more than 25 years’ experience\n\n * Source and supply food products and ingredients for retail, manufacturing and foodservice sectors\n\n * AA BRC Storage and Distribution\n\nThe working hours for the role are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
