Main Responsibilities of the Internal Sales Executive:
* Sell a wide range of timber products, including hardwoods, softwoods, sheet materials, cladding, decking, fencing, sleepers, insulation, hardware, and tools.
* Build and maintain relationships with a variety of customers, including contractors, housebuilders, developers, timber merchants, builders merchants, joinery manufacturers, shopfitters, and timber building manufacturers.
* Handle inbound sales enquiries via phone and email, providing prompt and professional responses.
* Process orders and proactively make cold calls to generate new business opportunities.
* Follow up on leads and enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service and high conversion rates.
* Create and send quotes, ensuring all details are accurate and aligned with customer needs.
* Provide ongoing support to clients and contribute to building lasting customer relationships.
* Collaborate with the branch and wider sales team to meet company objectives and deliver results.
