Finance Assistant Contract Type: Maternity Cover (9 months) Location: Sevenoaks Job Type: Full-time: 9-5.30pm Hybrid: Office: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Home: Tuesday and Fridays To start in December for the handover We are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant for a 9-month maternity cover contract based in Sevenoaks. This role is ideal for someone who is proficient in managing financial records and transactions with precision and accuracy. Day-to-day of the role: Payments Processing: Manage payments to ensure timely and accurate transactions and recording. Reconcile accounts with supplier invoices and process payments accordingly. Bank Reconciliation: Handle bank account processing and regular reconciliations. Credit Control: Monitor accounts and manage overdue payments. Reconciliations: Reconcile statements with bookings and prepare the relevant cost reporting. Address queries and manage payments for international accounts and tours. Management Accounts Assistance: Support the production of management accounts as needed. Additional Tasks: Assist with other tasks as directed by your manager or director. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in finance or a similar role. Strong understanding of payment processing and bank reconciliation. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent organisational and communication skills. If you have used Sage 50 this will be highly beneficial and Excel - v look up and pivot tables.
