The Occupational Health Advisor will provide a full professional, caring and proactive Occupational Health service to the Company whilst adhering to industry best practice. Our Occupational Health Advisor will: Advise the company about Occupational Health matters and take a proactive approach to promote the wellbeing of all employees. Manage illness and injury of employees at work pending referral to other agencies. Formulate departmental procedures to ensure that medical treatments, records and current legislation is adhered to and act as GDPR administrator or Occupational Health. Advise the Company on pre-employment health screening and required workplace adjustments. Conduct regular health screening for risk groups including (but not limited to) fork-lift truck drivers and crane operators Liaise with outside agencies as required including GP's and hospitals. Report on agreed Key Performance Indicators Collaboratively work with HR and management Manage the departmental budget, ordering supplies and maintenance of equipment for the department. Area Waste Holder for the department. What we're looking for in our Occupational Health Advisor: RGN (Registered General Nurse) qualification and 3 years practical work experience, working within the professional and legal code of practice, in accordance with the Royal College of Nursing and the Nursing and Midwifery Council UK.
