Based at our Christchurch office and working with the Craigmore Farming team. As the Farming Analyst, you will work with the Performance and Sustainability Manager to support the GM Farming with analysis and insight across the farming businesses, including physical and financial performance and benchmarking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the farming team to support the delivery of Farming Strategy across areas of responsibility.
* Be responsible for regular data collection and reporting processes, including but not limited to farm performance, sustainability, ESG, financial, people, and animals.
* Work closely with the farming team to update the long-term performance projections for each farm on a quarterly basis.
* Be responsible for the delivery of the Farming KPI and benchmarking data.
* Maintain an in-depth understanding of the dairy sector from farm through to product export.
* Play a key role in analysing and reporting on projects and initiatives that support our ESG principles.
Experience and Qualifications:
* A qualification in agriculture, management, commerce, or a related discipline is preferred.
* 3 years+ experience in New Zealand Agriculture/Dairy/Primary Industries.
* Competent user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
* Clarity of what happens on farm in terms of daily and seasonal activities and decisions.
* Experience building reports in Microsoft PowerBI would be an advantage.
* Experience in operational reporting alongside experience in modelling and financial analysis would be an advantage.

Salary: Competitive Salary ($85,000 - $110,000 Incl. Kiwisaver)
