Spire Nottingham Hospital have an exciting opportunity for anexperienced Healthcare Assistant to join the Outpatients department on a fulltime permanent basis.

Main duties of the job
Duties and responsibilities:
1. To assist the qualified nursing staff, under their supervision, in providing a high quality, comprehensive nursing service to all patients and users, ensuring a high standard of a patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
2. Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
3. Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patients health and well-being to the appropriate person
4. Assisting with the movement of patients in line with clinic policies

Who we're looking for:
5. Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a hospital environment
6. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care /Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
7. Basic numeracy & literacy.
8. Demonstrate a patient focused approach
9. Experience in : ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
10. Phlebotomy experience is essential
11. Wound care experience is essential
12. Good team work ethic
13. Enthusiastic and energetic professional
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
Working Hours: hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent or 12 Month Fixed Contract available
