We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team and contribute to the success of BaxterStorey UK. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, this role will oversee the development of menus, manage kitchen operations, and drive business growth.
About the Role
* Plan, prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards
* Manage a team across retail, deli, main kitchen, and pastry sections
* Create and develop menus with exciting new offerings
* Enhance the company's reputation for excellent food and service
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement menu strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
2. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, stock rotation, and food safety
3. Mentor and train staff to improve skills and knowledge
4. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
5. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as food costs, waste reduction, and customer feedback
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
* Demonstrated passion for food and commitment to excellence
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
