Job summary Do you have a passion for women's health and supporting women, their babies and families throughout pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period? Our maternity services are evolving with our plans to move to Bournemouth in 2025, we are looking to grow our team with maternity support workers. We are looking for candidates who are prepared to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays, no two days are the same in maternity and we provide a 24 hour, 365 day a year service. Base Location: St Mary's Maternity Hospital Interview Date: TBC Main duties of the job Main duties including providing kind and compassionate care including clinical observations, infant feeding, mental health and wellbeing support, housekeeping duties. For community duties you would need access to your own transport and will be support midwives care for women and babies in their own homes and/or in designated clinics of which all training will be given. In the hospital setting you will be a team player, working independently within scope of job and supported by a wonderful maternity team.
