This Supply Chain Finance Analyst role is a great opportunity for someone looking to train and progress in a Finance role to join a branded food manufacturing business.
If you are already studying or looking to gain CIMA qualifications this will be the perfect role offering support and training within a manufacturing environment with a fast-moving supply chain function.
Your role will be to support the Supply Chain Accountant and Supply Chain Finance Lead to deliver key objectives. You’ll be an Analyst working to provide detailed data analysis to enable business decisions and to provide support to the wider Supply Chain team.
Previous experience within a manufacturing and operational environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
Within the role you’ll be working on month end preparations with stakeholders to make sure that all costs and accrual postings are accurate for reporting as well as tracking inflation.
As mentioned, you will also support the Supply Chain Accountant this will include assisting on tasks such as:
1. Forecasting processes
2. Year end audit activity
3. Compliance requirements
4. Maintaining strong internal controls to minimise business risk
Partnering closely with the Logistics Analyst to review rates and support the supply chain costing process, you’ll build a business knowledge of Supply Chain operations over time to support any decisions made. There will be the opportunity to work on projects and actively seek opportunities you can pick up that’ll help the business streamline or simplify processes in keeping with the Continuous Improvement culture.
