This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per week in the office.

Join the dynamic finance team at easyJet as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), a pivotal role reporting directly to the Director of FP&A. As a key member of the Core Finance Leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group Budget, Outlook, and 5-Year Plan, along with regular profit and cash forecasts.
Your role will involve close collaboration with the wider FP&A and Strategy teams to ensure the delivery of accurate financial plans and provide essential support to challenge and validate business inputs.
You will also lead the Planning Analytics team, manage financial operations for approximately £300m in overheads, and develop strategic finance systems to support essential finance processes. This role is not only about maintaining financial integrity but also about driving strategic interventions and providing insightful analysis to shape the financial performance of easyJet.
As the Head of FP&A, you will lead a talented team of 12, including 3 direct reports, leading a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your expertise will guide senior management decisions, offering predictive insights and strategic guidance to the CFO and Director of FP&A.
You will be instrumental in developing and delivering presentations to senior executives, highlighting business performance and influencing key outcomes. This senior position empowers you to make significant contributions to the finance strategy and operations, ensuring robust governance and effective control across all financial activities.
Requirements of the Role
What you need to do the role
You will have a professional finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or Economics) and bring a minimum of 10 years' experience in managing a business partner environment within a similar EMEA or global organisation.
While aviation experience is preferred, it is not essential. You should have a robust understanding of business strategy development, process management, budgeting, and operations. Your proven track record should include talent management, organisational design, and effective project management, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
This role requires significant experience in finance support for large, complex entities, with a deep understanding of balance sheets, cash flow, and P&L. You will be supporting Directors and delivering impactful results through your ability to influence and build strong relationships. Experience in a European business context is advantageous.
