Wrexham Youth Justice Service (YJS) is a multi-agency organisation whose vision is to help create, "A Wrexham which is safe and crime free for all and where young people are valued citizens within the community".
As a Youth Justice Service Officer, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of young people who are subject to statutory Court Orders and Prevention programmes. You will support children through the duration of the intervention by engaging and working closely with them and their parents/carers. As an individual with a Degree in a related discipline or equivalent level of Youth Justice experience, you will have experience of completing assessments, delivering interventions, and managing risk.
The YJS is a busy and dynamic place to work, so you will need to be flexible and have the drive, enthusiasm, and resilience to work within resources, delivering an excellent service and managing competing demands. Successful candidates will be required to work Saturdays and Bank Holidays on a rota basis to provide a duty officer for the local courts.
