Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Swadlincote Salary: £24-25k (DOE) Potential for Reduced Working Week Eaton Syalon has been exclusively engaged to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk for our client, a specialist manufacturing group, to manage purchase ledger activities for a newly acquired business within the group. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a well-organised and flexible individual with strong purchase ledger and administrative skills. In addition to managing all purchase ledger responsibilities, you will also support the Buying Manager with purchasing activities, contributing to the smooth running of this growing and dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Manage all purchase ledger activities for the newly acquired business, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and supplier payments. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies or queries promptly. Support the Buying Manager with administrative purchasing tasks, including order processing and maintaining supplier records. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient purchase ledger processes. Provide ad-hoc support as required within the wider finance and procurement team. Requirements: Proven experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role, ideally within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment. Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. A flexible and well-organised approach to work, with excellent attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
