Closing Date 17/02/2025 Job Title: Project Manager Location: Durrington- Hybrid- 2-3 office, remaining WFH (occasional travel to sites will be required, therefore driving licence is essential) Perm/FTC: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum depending on skills and experience Are you an experienced Project Manager ready for a new challenge? As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of your allocated project, driving projects forwards to ensure the Southern Water investment plan is delivered to a high quality, on time and within budget. You will be overseeing the delivery of projects within the Water Directorate department across Southern Water through the management of multidisciplinary delivery teams. You will get exposure to high value projects providing a challenging but rewarding opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager. You will be integrating to deliver the required efficiency improvements within the business and as such will need to have a working understanding of delivery management, the ability to problem solve and facilitate meetings to achieve consensus to maintain programme to cost, quality and time. The team will comprise of both internal and external parties. Accountable for forecasting, programme update and reporting of projects/programmes, you will also be working with the team to provide clarity of delivery timescales and simplify programme complexities to allow the business to make informed decisions on investment to reduce business risk. To be successful in this role, you will have a strong project management background working on end to end management of high value projects. You will have expertise in managing the project lifecycle and delivering change and ability to manage risks, compliance, and multiple delivery teams across various stakeholders with your strong collaborative skills.
