We are looking for a highly effective and self-motivated Family Liaison Officer to support our 30 Trust schools. Working alongside teachers, parents, and other agencies, you will support local families to engage with helping their child to attend school and to thrive educationally. You will have strong communication skills and be able to quickly build positive relationships demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and empathy. Working as an intermediary between home and school, you will be able to positively impact upon the removal of complex barriers which may hold pupils back from fulfilling their potential.
The post holder will be part of the Standards Team based at the Trust Central offices: Evolve Business Centre, Rainton Bridge South Business Park (DH4 5QY). However, you will be regularly making home visits and attending schools.
The successful candidate must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post and have the ability to work flexibly including attendance at Director and Local Governing committee meetings if required.
