Respiratory Technician/Physiologist/Nurse
To provide specified respiratory investigations to clients/patients and administrative/QC support to the respiratory department in line with company quality procedures.
This clinic is a community-based hub, so the individual will be working independently and remotely from our main site. Full remote support will be available.
Main duties of the job
The role requires good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the post holder being computer literate and having knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. There is a need for a high standard of literacy and numeracy within the work, and the post holder will hold and maintain the ARTP Full Certificate in Spirometry.
Due to the nature of the work, and in the interests of patient care, there is a need for absolute accuracy and patient confidentiality at all times, as well as adherence to the Company's rigorous quality procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). In turn, this requires the post holder to be committed, conscientious, and motivated, and able to work effectively as a member of a team in a pressured environment.
Enhanced Adult Barred DBS will be undertaken prior to employment start.

Job responsibilities
* Perform lung functions, nebulization, and reversibility testing.
* Work to the Company's Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
* Manage and prepare patients for procedures.
* Ensure a high standard of patient/client care, including the cleanliness and stocking of clinical areas.
* Train in Basic Life Support.
* Administrative & QC procedures.
* Maintain and update professional knowledge, including new procedures and techniques.
Enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate.
All clinical employees are required to register with the appropriate professional body for their profession and are required to comply with this professional body's code of conduct and guidelines at all times.
Person Specification
Experience
* Previous experience within a similar level role.
* Experience of working with vulnerable patients.
* Ability to self-manage a clinic.
* ARTP Accreditation in performing and reporting adult spirometry.
Qualifications
* ARTP Full Certificate in Spirometry.
