Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Phlebotomist (minimum of working as phlebotomist for a continuous six month period) to join our Multi-Professional Team in its deliverance of high quality care to our women and their families.

As well as having good phlebotomy skills/experience the successful candidate must have IT skills which includes completing excels spreadsheets.
The successful candidate will be expected to work independently undertaking tasks, whilst under the supervision of the Fetal Medicine Midwife.
All shortlisted applicants are tested in literacy & numeracy prior to an interview being offered.
Main duties of the job
1. You will carry out a defined range of duties delegated by and reported back to a registered member of the multi-professional team.
2. You will be able to work regularly without direct supervision, reporting any concerns or change in the condition of the woman and highlight any incidents to the midwife responsible for care.
3. You will be competent in performing phlebotomy services for the Antenatal screening programmes and additional bloods as required.
4. You will be competent in using computers as you will be expected to input data and maintain excel spreadsheets.
