We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Construction Manager based within the CMDP Region and working from the Burham Site.
You will report directly to the Operations Manager and your role will include managing Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability aspects with responsibility for ensuring compliance for all delivered construction work. You will manage your local construction delivery team to ensure all activities meet scheme deliverables.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Lead and manage site construction teams within designated portfolios to deliver projects within approved budgets and timeframes; facilitate project construction kick-off meetings and lead health checks.
2. Be responsible for the performance of suppliers regarding Safety, Time, and Quality, including approving RAMS to ensure they are appropriate and adequate.
3. Lead Constructability Reviews, Project Rehearsals, and Fit for Assembly sign-offs to drive performance and innovation where possible.
4. Promote zero waste and reduce embodied carbon within construction activities.
5. Ensure site teams raise relevant contractual and commercial notices to the Project Team promptly.
6. Collaborate with the Lead Construction Manager to establish resource needs (labour, plant, and materials) for short and long-term planning.
7. Ensure full H&S compliance, fostering a safe environment where team members feel confident and autonomous in raising safety concerns.
8. Implement standard products and innovative techniques to maintain industry-leading standards.
