Suttons Tankers are an innovative national tanker haulage business, that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet which has been successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest chemical transporter in the UK. The Role: We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based at Tamworth, working Monday-Friday working - days with nights out as & when required. You will be responsible for delivering fuel to our customers across the country. You will deliver fuel between fuel terminals, client sites and potentially retail sites as necessary. Pay Rates: £20.40 per hour for the first 9 hours Mon - Friday Overtime hours at £27.20 after 9 hours Mon - Friday and FULLY PAID BREAKS £27.50 per hour paid on Saturdays £30.60 per hour paid on Sundays £40.80 per hour paid Bank Holidays plus Standard Bank holiday pay £20.40per shift Night Shift allowance £5.80 per day meal allowance paid weekly FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers Essential Requirements: An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points A tachograph card A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7 A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation A safety focus Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience A valid PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport) At least 2 years Tanker Experience The Package: Expected earnings on these shift patterns would give an average annual salary of £60,148.40 with minimal overtime. Please note these figures are indicative earnings for this group, actual earnings will vary depending on the hours worked. In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
