Operations Manager
About the role:
At Ciphr, we continue to grow. We have created an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager, this is a brand new role to support our continued success.
As Operations Manager you will provide a key support to the Chief Operating Officer and play an integral part in ensuring smooth corporate operations across the business.
You will manage a broad range of duties, from executive support to leading strategic corporate projects, ensuring that all activities are efficiently coordinated and executed. You will form part of the operations leadership team and work closely with them to drive operational excellence and foster cross-functional collaboration throughout Ciphr.
Location: This role is hybrid, with occasional visits to our Reading office.
See below the general responsibilities of an Operations Manager
* Assist the COO in overseeing corporate-wide projects, including procedure and process optimisation, mergers and acquisitions, and the implementation of new systems or initiatives.
* Lead and manage various strategic and operational projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
* Identify inefficiencies within operational processes and suggest enhancements to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall business operations.
* Gather, analyse, and interpret operational data to provide actionable insights to leadership.
* Creating reports and dashboards, including recommendations for improvements
* Organise meetings, preparing presentations, and handling confidential information with discretion.
About you:
* 2-3 years’ experience in an operations role, within a SaaS environment
* Highly pro-active and high agency in their style of work
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using tools such as advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar software.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
* Demonstrated experience in project management, including the ability to lead and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
* High attention to detail, with an ability to manage sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
* Experience working closely with senior leadership and the ability to contribute to high-level strategic discussions.
