We are now looking to recruit an Inside Sales and Customer Service Specialist.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will champion customer engagement to ensure we deliver a first-class customer experience. You will have many responsibilities including interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to meet and exceed customer requirements, being the initial internal contact for supporting dedicated accounts throughout their customer journey.
Responsibilities:
1. Take charge of outbound calls to new and lost customers, sparking interest, reigniting relationships, and uncovering exciting opportunities for collaboration.
2. Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities through consistent follow-ups and relationship building.
Value Proposition Communication:
1. Present and adjust value propositions based on customer segments and buying needs.
2. Actively listen to prospective customers and adapt recommendations to align with their business goals.
Request Solicitation and Quotation Management:
1. Solicit and manage requests for quotes from prospective and existing customers. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of pricing and product/service information.
2. Leverage pricing tools (e.g., list price configurator) to determine appropriate and competitive pricing for new sales opportunities.
3. Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and strategies.
Customer Care Leadership:
1. Advocate for existing accounts, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
2. Coordinate with customers on production, logistics, and supply chain matters.
3. Contribute to customer-focused projects like NPS launches and price reviews.
4. Manage incoming calls, general inquiries, and central inbox operations.
5. Develop product knowledge and handle item requests as needed.
6. Process sales orders, credits, returns, and ensure compliance documentation.
7. Oversee import/export shipments and transactions.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exchange and update customer-related information.
Education & Skills:
1. Experience in customer engagement, sales, or account management roles.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
3. Ability to analyze customer needs and provide tailored recommendations.
4. Proficiency in using CRM systems and pricing tools is preferred.
5. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
6. Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
7. Essential – 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and Mathematics.
8. Desirable - Education to at least NVQ III or equivalent in Business Administration or Customer Services.
