Summary
We are on the hunt for a Retail Maintenance and Logistics Coordinator to join our expanding retail department here at Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual with a maintenance background to join our team that can carry out maintenance jobs around our shops, such as painting, building sorting tables, installing display equipment, and general day-to-day maintenance in our stores.
We are looking for a team player with good communication skills that can work with our team and help, supervise, coordinate, and resolve their maintenance issues. Also, in this role, you will support the day-to-day running of our logistics department, supervising the team, supporting the shops, and helping out on the vans when needed.

The Role
1. To be responsible for the coordination of all retail maintenance and logistics.
2. To support the retail shops in making sure that there is a robust reporting system in place for any maintenance issues, that they are either resolved by the post holder or a suitable contractor is found to carry out the work.
3. To work with the Head of Retail and Area Manager on shop refits, coordinating the work in the shops, supporting yourself or sourcing contractors.
4. To oversee the driving team, line manage the team and volunteers in this service, undertake driving duties as and when required, and implement a system for tracking all deliveries and collections and making the van/s run as efficiently as possible.
5. The post holder will plan and organise their own straightforward work activities with day-to-day supervision available as required and will carry out routine activities referring to SOPs as required.
