Charterwells are offering the opportunity for a Level 3 qualified accountant with 2 years experience to join their growing practice. You will be supported to gain AAT L4 through an apprenticeship.

Day to Day work
What will you be doing:
* AAT level 3 qualified / a basic understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and bookkeeping would be preferable.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
* The ability to use your own initiative.
* Problem-solving skills and proactive in addressing queries.
* The ability/willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll
* VAT returns
* Accounts Preparation for Sole Traders and Limited Companies.
* Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) with attention to detail.
* Supporting in the preparation of self-assessments ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving finance processes and contribute to efficiency enhancements.
* Problem Solving: Helping to resolve customer and internal team queries in a timely manner.
* Ad Hoc Tasks: Support with any other tasks as required.
In addition to the tasks described above, the job holder may be required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
Qualifications:
Good GCSE grades in Maths and English.

Training Provided:
Individuals in the role of a Professional accounting or tax technician will have responsibility for creating, and/or verifying and reviewing, accurate and timely financial information within the organisation in which they are employed or on behalf of another organisation. It takes approximately 18 months to complete the apprenticeship and you will receive a blended method of learning including Tutor Coach visits, remote learning and attending workshops, working towards achieving nationally recognised qualifications in:
* AAT L4 Professional accounting or taxation technician Standard.
