As Internal Communications Specialist you'll be responsible for the delivery of Group Internal Communications that inform and engage employees, using a variety of internal communication channels including emails, intranet, newsletter. Overseeing the day-to-day management of the communication editorial plan and with the guidance of Group IC Director, using insight and data to evidence and make informed decisions on future communications. Key responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day management and governance of Group channels eg intranet pages and sites, emails, newsletters, M365 social channels, digital screens etc ensuring content remains up to date, accurate and relevant Leading on content creation and publishing including regular drumbeat communications and campaign communications Creating engaging modern basic communication assets that support content needs and are used to complement our written stories Developing and managing a suite of insight and data and work with the Group IC Director to make future communication decisions based on date and insight evidence Own the day-to-day management of the editorial planning process including responsibility for negotiation of timings and content Support the communications team with the running of communications networks and forums bringing SBU communicators together Build and maintain a strong network of good working relationships with operational contacts across Group Help plan and deliver employee events in conjunction with the events team and Group Development and Communication team Keep abreast of internal communication industry changes and make recommendations for development of new approaches and channels that make internal communication more effective Ensure internally published communications align with external communications, are factually correct, follow internal standards, and meet legal and regulatory requirements Knowledge, skills and experience Mid experience internal communication practitioner who has worked in regulated businesses, ideally in financial services Strong written communication skills, capable of adapting writing styles for different audiences and channels Some experience of co-creating, developing and implementing internal communication plans and strategies Previous experience of collating and reporting insight and data and interpreting the evidence into recommendations Experience of managing editorial plans with ability to influence stakeholders of all levels onto timings and delivery of content Experience of co-managing complex projects, involving multiple stakeholders, from start to finish Experience of managing and evolving regular employee communications Knowledge of content management systems and intranet management, working with intranet contributors without line responsibility A high level of accuracy and attention to detail A flexible approach to working, comfortable navigating through ambiguity and adjusting priorities to meet business needs What we offer A competitive salary - let's discuss it Hybrid working Group Personal Pension - up to 12% employer contribution Generous annual bonus scheme up to 24% 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a holiday buy and sell scheme A range of health and wellbeing benefits, including private healthcare, income protection and life assurance Up to £400 annual personal grant to a charity of your choice Encouraged to take at least one volunteering day per year Employee Assistance Programme Full study support to gain professional qualifications Access to virtual GP Enhanced maternity and paternity pay About us Benefact Group is a unique international financial services Group made up of over 30 businesses.
