Quality Manager
The Company
Based in East Cheshire, this international food organisation is a leading supplier in its sector, supplying a portfolio of ingredients to a complex range of UK customers.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Technical Manager, with a small QA team reporting in, you will manage the day-to-day activities of a site-based Quality team aligned to the Technical Strategy that ensures the business delivers quality, authentic, legal, and food-safe products, in line with customer specification; building relationships both internally and externally, driving the technical excellence agenda.
With Quality principles at the heart of everything you do, you will ensure HACCP systems and food quality standards and accreditations are followed, ensuring calibration, validation, and auditing processes are completed.
About You
Experience of the food manufacturing sector is essential within a Food Quality/Technical role, including Quality, BRC systems, and HACCP; as well as experience of managing and implementing quality systems and procedures and supporting internal and external audit processes.
Experience in managing small teams in food manufacturing would also be highly advantageous.
