Senior FP&A Analyst
Equifind is proud to be supporting a global financial services group in their search for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their London operation.
With revenues of more than $4bn and a team of over 11,000 employees across 140 locations worldwide, they are a leader in the industry.
This newly created role will be responsible for leading global management reporting, as well as overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process to drive financial performance, support decision-making, and ensure business objectives are met.
What will I be doing?
* Develop and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads and senior management to set financial targets and performance metrics.
* Provide in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, and insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and drive operational improvements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic financial insights, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation.
* Create and maintain comprehensive financial reports and dashboards, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.
* Assist in capital allocation decisions, assessing investment opportunities, and evaluating potential acquisitions or partnerships.
* Monitor and manage financial risks, including market and credit risk, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, providing mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
* Continuously improve financial planning and analysis processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Who are they looking for?
* Qualified accountant, preferably ACA or CIMA, with a minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience.
* Proven experience in a senior reporting role within the financial services industry.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
* Excellent knowledge of financial planning and budgeting processes.
* Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
