This is an exciting new opportunity to join the Breast Services team at Kettering General Hospital, working in a modern, purpose-built treatment centre.
You'll be part of a close-knit, forward thinking multidisciplinary team with strong links to Northampton General Hospital through our University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN) NHS Group partnership. The role involves hands-on involvement in both symptomatic and elective breast pathways, with opportunities to contribute to service development and innovation.

Supporting the provision and delivery of high-quality breast surgical services for patients across the breast care pathway, including symptomatic and cancer care.
* Working collaboratively with consultant colleagues, nurse practitioners, radiologists, oncologists, and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure timely diagnosis and appropriate surgical treatment.
* Participating in outpatient clinics, diagnostic sessions, and theatre lists.
* Maintaining a high standard of clinical care, acting in scope of their clinical competence, and engaging in continuing professional development to maintain this.
* Contributing to regular MDT discussions and departmental meetings, sharing clinical insights and helping ensure effective team-based decision-making.
* Supporting clinical governance activities, including audits, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Undertaking administrative duties relevant to patient care and clinical pathways as agreed within the team.
* Adhering to Trust polices and procedures, including those relating to patient safety, infection prevention, and clinical documentation.
* Participating in the appraisal process and maintaining up-to-date records of clinical activity, CPD, and mandatory training.
* Working flexibility to support safe and effective service delivery, including providing cross-cover with colleagues as needed.
