Job Description:
Social care opportunity for a Personal Assistant. It is essential to refer to the details of the job and the tasks involved when submitting an application and advise of the days/hours you are available.
Job Purpose: Support a teenage girl who has learning disabilities and ASD, to go out in the local community to places such as cinemas and libraries, or complete activities at home during the school holidays. Personal care support will also be part of the role, assisting when out in public toilets as she cannot be left alone.
Responsibilities:
1. Days out to places of interest
2. Days at home carrying out activities
3. Ensure safety in the toilet and appropriate dressing
4. Engage in activities such as swimming, bowling, and discussions about Disney films

Essential:
1. Female due to personal care aspect of the position
2. Experience with adults/children with learning disabilities and ASD

2. Driving Licence with car for work purposes
Summary Terms and Conditions:
1. The rate of pay for this position is £15 p/h.
2. Hours and times of work as follows: During school holidays. Hours and times to be discussed at interview.
3. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
4. Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
5. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
The post is subject to the following:
1. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
2. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
