What you'll do
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
* Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile them
* Update the cashbook daily and perform bank reconciliations
* Prepare bank lodgements and direct debit files
* Issue invoices, credit notes, and customer statements
* Assist with month-end closing procedures
* Monitor and manage outstanding customer balances, ensuring timely follow-up and collection
* Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
* Maintain a record of all communication regarding payments and credit with customers
* Set up new customers and maintain the customer master file
* Provide support with various other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach
About you
If you've previous experience of working as an Accounts Assistant or Sales Ledger Assistant and have:
* Strong Accounts Admin experience
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Strong team working ability
