Trainee White Goods Engineer
Location: Bolton, covering postcodes M, SK, BL, BB, FY, PR, WA, WN, OL, LA, L
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £28k – 32k per annum depending on experience plus quarterly bonus
Shift Pattern: Average of 41 hours per week, 5 days over 7, some Saturday work on a rostered basis. No Sundays. Salary review upon successful completion of training.

Role Description
We are seeking Trainee White Goods Engineers to join our White Goods Repair Team. This team boasts industry-leading NPS and a world-class 1st visit fix rate. As a Trainee, you will develop your electrical skills and complete comprehensive training within 2-4 months, enabling you to perform as a White Goods Engineer. Your role involves diagnosing faults, installing, repairing, and maintaining appliances, and building rapport with customers.
Responsibilities
1. Testing, diagnosing, and repairing white goods in customers’ homes
2. Applying technical knowledge to a range of appliances
3. Managing your schedule and driving a company van
4. Enhancing our reputation as home service experts
Requirements
* Experience in repair or installation involving electric or electro-mechanical products (e.g., field service engineering, trainee plumbing, electrical services, domestic electrical installation)
* Basic electrical knowledge, both theoretical and practical
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to handle heavy appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers
* Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
