Assistant General Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at a prestigious luxury boutique hotel in the South Cotswolds. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of over 20 staff across key departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of 20+ staff across five departments (Bar, Restaurant, Reception, etc.)
* Support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running
* Actively participate in recruitment, training, and development of staff members
* Take charge of budgeting and assist with financial planning
* Drive forward the hotel's expansion projects, including improvements to the restaurant and garden areas
Requirements:
* At least five years of hotel management experience, particularly within F&B
* Stability and a strong track record in managing teams and delivering outstanding guest service
* Experience in leading high-end properties and driving growth
