What Will You Work On?
This position performs general administrative support functions to Population Health programs. This position also performs duties such as basic word processing, preparing routine internal correspondence and reports, responding to routine inquiries, filing, and operating office equipment.
This position provides assistance to the Environmental Public Health Program Support team, by assisting with general record management duties, providing basic correspondence triaging, and answering routine inquires in accordance with established guidelines.
What you will be doing:
•Performs simple record management functions, such as filing of templated low-risk files.
•Organizes files, including preparing file folders, bankers boxes, and assigning file numbers in accordance with Environmental Public Health documentation standards.
•Operates office equipment such as photocopiers and fax machines, and carries out minor maintenance, such as loading paper, removing paper jams, cleaning glass, and changing toner cartridges. Refers further maintenance required to supervisor.
•Provides basic correspondence triaging, such as gathering and sorting incoming faxes, and picking up delivered supplies from the mail room.
•Performs basic word processing functions such as creating box labels and file lists.
•Maintains inventories of supplies in the workstation areas. Notifies Program Support when supply stocks get low.
•Receives and relays messages, provides basic information, such as directing visitors, and answering routine inquires in accordance with established guidelines. Refers more complex or unique inquires to program support staff when required.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.
