This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work with a driven team of social enterprise and community developers in one of Scotland’s most well regarded and effective social enterprise support providers. Community Enterprise Ltd is a well-established third sector support organisation with a progressive outlook and a diverse portfolio.
This role will be based within the development team. We are particularly keen to enhance the capacity and skillset of this team by recruiting someone with strong financial skills and experience. The successful candidate will be able to deliver this alongside broader development work.
Job Purpose: To deliver development support and capacity building to third sector organisations to assist them to become sustainable. Community Enterprise operates largely as a social enterprise consultancy agency so much of your role will be that of a consultant undertaking specific pieces of work as well as providing free capacity building and mentoring.

The Conservation Volunteers connects people and green spaces to deliver lasting outcomes for both.
About the role:
The John Muir Way is one of Scotland’s most iconic long-distance walking routes, spanning 134 miles from Helensburgh on the west coast to Dunbar on the east. The John Muir Way Green Skills program, a three-year initiative funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, will focus on improving biodiversity along this route, creating opportunities for trainees to learn new skills, build confidence, and contribute to Scotland’s natural and cultural heritage.
The John Muir Way Greenskills programme is a 3-year initiative, with 72 trainees engaging in practical biodiversity tasks and projects along the route. The programme aims to bridge the skills gap and ageing workforce challenges, increase connectivity and break down the disconnect with nature, working alongside various partners to achieve its goals.
Each Greenskills Leader will lead a team of six Green Skills Trainees per year, located in Edinburgh, Falkirk, North Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire. The post holder will have overall responsibility for line managing the trainees, delivery of practical training and the delivery of practical biodiversity enhancement tasks on partners' sites. Each Green Skills Leader will liaise with greenspace teams in Local Authorities and Scottish Canals to agree sites and projects. This role will also contribute to the project evaluation, local budget management, and programme promotion. This role will work closely with the People and admin coordinator managing the schedule of external training, trainee attendance, annual leave, onboarding and programme exiting of trainees. These roles will report into the John Muir Way Greenskills Operations Leader.
Experience of leading a small team.
Previous management of a training programme/structured delivery model.
A passion for supporting young people to achieve their goals.
Knowledge and understanding of practical biodiversity projects and events.
Experience in recruiting and managing trainees and/or other stakeholders.
Experience in working in partnership with multiple organisations with potentially differing demands.

About the Role
The role will primarily be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies, for crafting grant applications and for marketing the work of the Vine Trust to volunteers, supporters and stakeholders.
As the Fundraising and Outreach Manager at Vine Trust, you will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and fundraising strategy to support Vine Trust’s programmes achieving agreed targets and outcomes, consistent with the Vine Trust principles and ethos. You will also act as deputy to Chief Executive in their absence.
Key objectives include:
* Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, corporate sponsors, trusts, and foundations.
* Prepare compelling grant applications and manage fundraising campaigns.
* Organise and manage fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, to increase awareness and generate funds.
* Create and execute marketing campaigns to promote volunteer opportunities, utilising digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and traditional media.
* Collaborate with colleagues, overseas partners and other linked organisations to develop and maintain engaging content for the Trust’s Connections magazine, website and social media platforms.
* Ensure quality control of all fundraising and marketing materials, consistent with the principles and ethos of the Trust.
* Monitor and analyse fundraising and marketing data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with relevant fundraising regulations and best practices to maintain the Trust’s reputation and integrity.
Role Requirements

The Phoenix is a Community Hub in Dumbarton West, it was set up in 2018 by Rock Community Church. The Rock is a vibrant church community serving Dumbarton and the surrounding area. The Phoenix is designed to primarily serve the people of Dumbarton West, namely the residents of Castlehill, Westcliff, and Brucehill. Community Energy Scotland is recruiting for a Rural Energy Hub Officer based in Shetland. We are looking to recruit an energetic, well-organised and self-motivated individual to work as part of a team delivering the Rural Energy Hub project. Technical training as required, personal development opportunities, and support will be provided by Community Energy Scotland.
This role is to coordinate a network of community groups across Orkney and Shetland, support the community groups to produce an evidence-based sustainable community transport plan fit for their individual community, work on the rollout of new electric minibuses, chargers and/or charger management systems to five communities and work with the project team to create a replicability model to roll out across other areas of the UK.
