Responsibilities · Batch release: Perform batch review and release activities associated with products manufactured by Protexin Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs). · Customer Complaints: Manage, investigate, report and trend complaints associated with products manufactured by Protexin CMOs. · CMO approval: In conjunction with the CMO QA Manager, assess and review potential CMOs for use to manufacture ADM Protexin products. Write, review and approve relevant documentation such as SOPs, questionnaires and risk assessments. · CMO ongoing review: Periodically review existing Protexin CMOs and perform audits, identify and report KPIs, and investigate and manage non-conformances associated with CMO manufactured products and follow up on CAPA and change control relating to Protexin CMOs. Ensure CMO compliance with Protexin quality standards and regulatory requirements. · Auditing: Conduct and support physical and remote audits of CMOs and suppliers, including domestic and overseas travel. Support the site internal and external audit programs. Travel expected up to 20%. · QTAs: Implement and maintain Quality and Technical Agreements (QTAs) for all Protexin CMOs. · QA Systems Support: Provide support to the QA Systems team as required by the QA Systems Manager. · Continuous Improvement: identify and implement improvements to quality processes and support improvement initiatives across the site. Qualifications and Experience: · Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline preferred, or other higher-level education in a relevant subject, HNC, HND; and · Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality assurance or quality control in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment. · Auditing experience essential, lead auditor qualification preferred Skills and Competencies: · Performance and results orientated. · Strong organizational and planning skills. · Excellent at building relationships. · Great team worker. · Strong attention to detail. · Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
