Service Technician / Service Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Service Engineer / Crane Engineer to join an engineering service business based in Ireland.
The Successful Service Technician / Service Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Service Engineer / Crane Engineer will carry out commissioning, fault finding, repairs and inspection on a range of electrical equipment, PLC & drive systems.
The Service Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Service Engineer / Crane Engineer will ideally be based in Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities:
Perform commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of cranes and lifting equipment at client sites, including ports and harbours.
Carry out commissioning, fault finding, repairs and inspection on a range of electrical equipment, PLC & drive systems.
Electrical component installation.
Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulic and mechanical systems and equipment.
Oversee the commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of various client mechanical equipment.
Assist in identifying and procuring spare parts as needed.
Generate clear, factual reports documenting all tasks and outcomes.
Engage in rigging and lift planning activities.
Adhere to all site Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
Mitigate any potential environmental risks during tasks, ensuring all safety measures are applied, particularly in offshore settings.
Travel outside the UK and Ireland as required to support other departments or for training purposes.Requirements:
Previous experience as a Service Electrician, Service Technician, Service Engineer, Crane Technician, Crane engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Electrical Engineer or similar.
Working within the marine, port & harbour crane industry. Preferably on Liebherr, Gottwald and Kalmar is an advantage.
Commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems.
Work at heights.
A technical electrical/ hydraulic qualification, apprentice trained, HNC,HND, degree or equivalent would be advantageous.
