A forward thinking, privately owned group of companies is on the lookout for a dynamic leader and qualified accountant to join their organisation as a Group Financial Controller. The Role As a Group Financial Controller, you will have a strategic mindset, with a "hands-on" approach. This senior leadership role has a blend of daily operational finance with strategic partnering, whilst delivering value across multiple brands within the group. You'll be responsible for managing the finance function across all entities, driving robust financial reporting, compliance, and planning. As a Board member, you will help guide key strategic decisions and support exciting new growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day Finance operations including accounts Budgeting, payroll, cashflow, compliance, and reporting Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Collaborate with Managing Director & Finance Director Design Financial strategies for Investment Implement cashflow forecasting tools Investment Projects Oversee financial planning and performance tracking across Group Statutory Reporting requirements Working closely with external accountants, advisors, and Stakeholders Regulatory Compliance, Tax, and Audit requirements Requirements Experience Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Experience with cashflow modelling and reporting process improvement Attention to detail Knowledge of Grant funding and capital project reporting Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a Group function Proven leadership in financial control and strategic finance Strong commercial acumen Background Inspirational Leader Strong analytical thinking Strategic mindset Collaborative and hands-on approach Stakeholder engagement Expert Benefits Salary of up to £75,000 Pension Career Development
