Role OverviewKey Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal teams, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated appropriately.
Calculate, record, and report driver hours (core and agency) on a weekly basis.
Process payroll and HR paperwork for the transport team.
Maintain accurate records of driver hours, holidays, and sickness in relevant systems.
Ensure tachograph compliance, accident forms, and fleet records are correctly maintained.
Assist in recruiting drivers and transport staff alongside management and agencies.
Support disciplinary meetings, investigations, and performance reporting.
Ensure full compliance with transport regulations (Mail Integrity Code, Safety & Health, Dangerous Goods, Data Protection).
Carry out general clerical duties such as filing, note-taking, and correspondence.
Assist with daily routing, licence checks, and operational support as required.
Build strong relationships with internal and external service providers to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills
2+ years' experience in a transport admin or logistics role.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
Knowledge of UK & EU driving regulations, tachograph compliance, and working time directives.
Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Full UK driving licence (for occasional travel).
Experience with Isotrak or similar telematics software (preferred)
