Job Overview: The CNC / Forklift Operative will be responsible for operating CNC machinery and forklifts to support the production and logistics operations within the company. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: CNC Operator Duties: Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality components as per specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Program and configure CNC machines for various tasks. Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and ensure minimal downtime. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery. Inspect finished products for precision and quality assurance, using measuring tools. Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and outputs. Forklift Operator Duties: Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and finished goods within the facility. Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles. Organize and store raw materials, components, and finished goods in appropriate locations. Assist in maintaining inventory control by reporting stock levels. Ensure all goods are handled and stored safely, adhering to health and safety regulations. Experience: Proven experience as a CNC operator, forklift driver, or similar role. Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is advantageous. Forklift counterbalance licence and experience is required. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm
