About the role:
To produce a wide range of presentations within agreed timescales to high quality standards in order to support sales and existing client business within abrdn, whilst always ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance guidelines. Presentations can cover the firm’s various products and capabilities, relating to both the institutional and wholesale business. There is also the opportunity to be involved in ad-hoc projects.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Production of comprehensive & compelling sales and client presentations
2. Maintain professional working relationships within the organisation
3. Review and maintain daily individual workflow records
4. Proactively help and support other team members
5. Assisting in ongoing team projects & contribute to the development of processes
6. Operate within Compliance framework across all countries of distribution (EMEA)
7. Sound knowledge of the investment management business and services
System Requirements:
1. Experience of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint (essential), Excel, Outlook, Teams & Word
2. Awareness of Salesforce (or similar CRM system)
3. Awareness of Seismic, LiveDocs
Core Competencies:
1. Market/product knowledge desirable (or a general interest in the financial industry)
2. Able to work independently as well as within a team, with enthusiasm to learn and develop
3. Time management skills, ability to organise own workload, prioritising urgent requests when needed in order to work to strict deadlines
4. High standard of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail (required for proof-reading)
5. Ability to access information from a variety of information sources and software
6. Ability to interpret and present information visually
7. European language skills are desirable
