Key requirements/What you bring
In this role you will report to the CEO of Allianz Partners UK & Ireland whom you'll support in all efforts linked to management and maximizing the growth of those Business Units and executive team, steering the strategic agenda. You will work closely with the local Executive Committee and will be a point of contact on many topics and link with key stakeholders within the BUs, across other BUs as well as at Regional & Group level.
Your main responsibilities in supporting the CEO will be to:
1. Contribute to the day-to-day activities and regulatory topics.
2. Participate in the Executive Committee:
* Prepare Exec meetings, capture decisions and actions, and follow up on action items.
* Report progress on the most important initiatives, escalations to ensure coordination across BU and functions.
* Ensure that strategic initiatives and decisions are led to completion across the BUs and different functions.
* Engage with Strategic stakeholders taking responsibility for own input and action.
* Responsible for collecting and consolidating data from business stakeholders to produce reports and insights for all levels.
* Coordinate, participate and/or lead a projects portfolio and report progress to the Executive team.
* Represent the CEO in some meetings for further alignment on decisions and arbitrations.
* Effectively support in the preparation of high-quality materials for internal and external presentations and meetings.
This role will open various international career steps by providing you great exposure to senior management and to a very wide range of cross-functional business topics (from sales and growth to financial, operational and people topics, etc). Please note this role is hybrid (3 days) and our office is in Croydon.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* At least 5+ years of experience in relevant areas such as business administration, project management, key functions, and/or consulting background.
* Good understanding of the insurance and assistance business.
* Experience working with intercultural teams in an international and dynamic environment.
* Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude and strong autonomy.
* Results-driven and solution-oriented mindset.
* Extremely structured and organized approach towards work, with strong attention to details.
* Good interpersonal skills, ability to establish trust relationships with all levels of the organization.
* Excellent ability to filter information and to prioritize competing priorities under tight deadlines.
* Proven experience analyzing and synthesizing complex information and drawing conclusions.
* Comfortable challenging the ideas of others and challenging senior stakeholders.
* Working knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically excellent skills in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
* Fluent in English including excellent writing skills.
