About the Role
As a Content Co-Ordinator at Reuters Events, you will be responsible for:
1. Delivering whitepapers, surveys and reports for key commercial clients. You'll work with our marketing teams to drive database growth and revenue opportunities.
2. Delivering the high standard expected of a written piece from our brand. You'll write short and long form pieces and will work closely with clients to manage the final delivery (layout) of our written content to specific deadlines.
3. Consulting with external clients for briefings and conducting interviews with key leaders in the pharmaceutical industry.
4. Proofing and editing the work of subcontracted writers on short and long form articles, ensuring that our output meets the brand standard.
5. Collaborating with both freelance writers and the wider Reuters Events team to allocate work to other writers to develop small content ideas and plans.
6. Packaging event summaries from live events to be shared with our audience.
7. Aiding database engagement with active planning of interesting content to improve engagement and grow our newsletters by researching and articulating current, relevant content in a way that will resonate with our readers.
About You
As a Content Co-Ordinator at Reuters Events, you will likely have:
1. Demonstrable experience of writing and editing copy, ideally for a professional audience.
2. An interest in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Prior experience of writing in this space is a plus but certainly not required!
3. A creative mindset, with a great eye for detail.
4. The ability to work collaboratively and to tight deadlines, whilst fostering great working relationships with colleagues and clients alike, and establishing the best course of action for written content.
