The Role:
We're on the hunt for a Senior Character Artist who thrives in a dynamic, MVP-driven environment and is adept at balancing creativity with practicality. In this role, you'll not only design and sculpt character costumes that capture the imagination of players but also play a crucial part in evolving our game post-launch, ensuring fresh and engaging content that keeps our community coming back for more.
* Lead the creation of high-quality 3D character models, from conceptualization to in-game implementation.
* Work closely with the art director and design team to ensure character designs align with the game's vision and narrative.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of character art pipelines and best practices.
* Provide Feedback to our Outsources to ensure a in quality and technical sound delivery.
We are looking for someone who:
* 5+ years of experience as a Character Artist in the video game industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality character models.
* Expertise in 3D modelling, sculpting and texturing realistic human characters, cloth and character costumes, as well as hard surface elements.
* Strong understanding of human anatomy, character design principles and fabric dynamics.
In addition, we expect you to have:
* Expertise in Realtime Hair Workflows.
* Expert knowledge in Maya/Max/Blender, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer.
* Experience with Unreal Engine and familiarity with its character setup and implementation pipelines.
* Experience in providing clear, actionable feedback to outsourcers, ensuring consistency and quality in all character assets.
