Are you an experienced Engineering Manager ready to take on a critical role in one of the UK's premier data centre environments? We are seeking a dedicated Critical Engineering Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and development of our state-of-the-art facility in Canary Wharf.

Duties will include:
1. Performing HR duties such as recruiting, selecting, scheduling, counselling, and disciplining employees.
2. Leading, motivating, and supporting the team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution.
3. Leading and managing a team of engineers to ensure the reliable operation of critical infrastructure, including HVAC, UPS systems, generators, and electrical distribution.
4. Developing and implementing preventive and reactive maintenance schedules to maintain high availability.
5. Managing vendor relationships and overseeing contracts to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
Requirements:
1. City and Guilds Electrical Qualifications
2. HV AP
3. Proven experience in a critical data centre or similar high-availability environment.
4. Strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
5. Knowledge of critical systems such as UPS, generators, and HVAC.
6. Effective leadership skills with experience managing a technical team.
7. Proactive problem-solving abilities and a commitment to operational excellence.
