Experienced Storeperson - Engineering Sector
About the Company: Our client, originating as a family-owned business, has evolved into a leading and dependable brand within the engineering sector. They are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to undertake a diverse and autonomous role in their plant based in the eastern suburbs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts for material handling.
2. Loading and Unloading: Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods efficiently.
3. Inwards and Outwards Goods Management: Oversee the flow of materials into and out of the warehouse.
4. Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain inventory records.
5. Internal Parts Supply: Ensure timely distribution of parts within the facility.
Requirements:
1. Physical Fitness: Capable of extensive walking and lifting tasks.
2. Computer Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency for data management.
3. Warehouse Experience: Recent experience in a manufacturing or engineering warehouse setting.
4. Forklift Expertise: Current experience with forklift operations; an OSH certificate is preferred.
