Job summary To provide training and support to ensure all learners achieve in a timely manner. To effectively assess learners' performance, knowledge and understanding against the national occupational standards. To make pro-active contribution to the quality assurance and improvement processes as required by the Awarding Organizations and Ofsted To support the delivery and evaluation of training programmes To manage a cohort of learners to achieve key performance targets in relation to and not limited to: Retention, achievement and timely success rates. Main duties of the job To provide support and assistance to the Assistant Director of People & Development to deliver effective Apprentice training programs. To provide a comprehensive education package to enrolled staff on apprenticeship programs to fall in line with national and local legislation. Provide comprehensive assistance and support to staff undertaking apprenticeship training. Development of apprenticeship programs, where appropriate and liaising with other internal developments as and when required. To update the Apprenticeship Lead as and when required with specific staff issues (i.e DNA, issues with competencies) and ensure all relevant documentation is correctly completed. and assist in preparing and presenting employee data to monitor the Trusts compliance and progress in meetings where required. Assist in the development of apprenticeship support systems and procedures, maintaining good working relationships with staff and students alike. Liaise with the Training Administration Team to provide and maintain effective administrative/coordination between Training and other NEAS departments. Although not a budget holder, the post-holder may influence expenditure by submitting requisitions. Maintain a record of current apprenticeship training being delivered and to be aware of any forthcoming legislative needs/changes.
