Technical Support Engineer

£33,000 - £44,000 DoE
My client, an international provider of advanced Telecommunications solutions, is seeking 2-3 Technical Support Engineers to join their exciting and growing team. Supporting customers via face-to-face, phone and email, they are looking for a positive, hardworking candidate who is willing to keep on top of modern communication technologies.
Requirements
* Knowledge with at least two of the following – PDH/SDH, GPON, Cellular/Wireless and LTE, IP Networks/Infrastructure.
* Familiar with the range of test equipment including optical power meters and light sources, BERTs, cellular scanners and mustimeters.
* Experienced in fault finding methodology.
* Experience with remote management platforms.
* Telecommunications related courses/qualifications.
Additional Attributes Required
* Excellent communication skills.
* Comfortable engaging with both customers and suppliers.
* Ability to work part of a team or autonomously.
* A good worth ethic with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
