We are actively seeking a Sales Consultant to spearhead the expansion of our digital solutions within the retail and hospitality sectors. This crucial role is perfect for a commercially sharp sales professional who is keen to boost our market presence by effectively showcasing our products and services to a diverse clientele, focusing on premier retail and hospitality businesses, and exploring new opportunities in adjacent markets.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
* Initiate engagement with potential retail and hospitality clients.
* Tailor product solutions to precisely fit client needs.
* Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Take responsibility for achieving specific sales targets.
* Develop significant contacts and networks within the UK retail and hospitality industries.
* Successfully negotiate and seal deals, promoting our digital solutions.
* Utilize a proactive approach to discover new business opportunities.
* Enhance sales within our existing retail client base.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven track record in new business development.
* Minimum of 5 years in complex software sales.
* Background in the retail or hospitality sectors.
* Consistent record of surpassing sales targets.
* Independent, diligent, and well-organized.
* Skilled in building relationships, both in-person and remotely.
* Competent in explaining complex technical systems and processes.
* Deep understanding of B2B sales dynamics.
* Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills.
* Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
* Quick to adapt and learn new skills.

* Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
Experience:
* POS/EPOS systems: 1 year (preferred).
* Strong negotiation & influencing: 2 years (preferred).
* Retail or Hospitality sector experience: 2 years (preferred).
* Software sales: 5 years (preferred).
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (preferred).
