Job Role
Provides customer focused Parks and Leisure services through ensuring the effective delivery of the Arboricultural Contract, divisional performance reporting, effective budget monitoring, and responsible stakeholder management through customer enquiries and complaints.
Main Accountabilities
1. Acts as a first point of contact for all enquiries including those from Members of Parliament, Councillors, and stakeholders coming into the Division including ICW and FOIs. Develops effective links and working relationships to ensure responses are timely and within corporate timescales. Reports to the division on performance against correspondence targets.
2. Contributes to the successful delivery of the Arboricultural Services Contract, ensuring effective contract management through the issuing of works and adherence to specified schedules.
3. Leads the rollout of new procedures related to the Council's business systems, focusing on maximizing IT benefits and providing guidance to senior managers.
4. Responsible for the preparation and presentation of technical and non-technical reports as required.
5. Contributes to the management and monitoring of budgets and processes payments to contractors.
6. Provides coordination regarding Divisional finance, including ordering supplies, raising purchase orders, and processing invoices for service managers, ensuring high accuracy and recommending system improvements where appropriate.
