As a Multi Skilled Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to maintain, repair, and install plant equipment, systems, and building structures associated with our premises. Your role is pivotal in ensuring best practices, statutory compliance, and adherence to service level agreements as outlined in our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract. A significant aspect of this role involves expertise in both domestic and commercial plumbing.

What you’ll do:
1. Perform day-to-day operations, planned maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on a variety of systems including water distribution, sanitary fittings, BMS, drainage, boiler controls, fire alarm systems, and building fabric.
2. Ensure all work meets required codes of practice and health and safety regulations.
3. Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and site representatives to maintain high levels of customer care.
4. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
5. Provide cover for other multi-skilled engineers as needed and participate in an on-call rota, including weekends.

What you bring:
Essential:
1. Qualification in commercial plumbing equipment services and drainage (e.g., Unvented Hot Water Installer, Level 2/3 plumbing C&G NVQ).
2. At least 5 years of relevant post-experience in a similar environment.
3. Ability to multi-task across mechanical and other building disciplines.
4. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. UK driving license and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable:
1. Gas Safe Registered, water regulations certificate.
2. Educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent experience in Engineering or Building discipline.
3. Experience with PDA systems and basic report writing skills.
4. Member of a relevant professional body (IET, CIBSE, BIFM).
