Stratford Lodge Stratford Lodge is a specialist residential care home that aims to provide care and links to education for young adults aged 19 – 25 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan. The young adults we support will all have a diagnosis of both Autistic Spectrum Disorder, severe learning difficulties and other associated needs. Our young adults may display some behaviour that challenges. Stratford Lodge will create personalised plans for each individual focused on building life skills including; independence and access to vocational pathways where appropriate in a way that supports each individual to achieve their own personal best. This provision aims to cater for 4-6 young adults. This is a vibrant opportunity for a dynamic manager to positively contribute to our mission of developing a 52-week residential service provision. Stratford Lodge is registered with CQC and is rated ‘Good’; a rating it has maintained since opening in 2007. Job Role This role is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head of Care, to develop strategic growth and drive the service forward. You will also lead and manage the staff team to fulfil and deliver the agreed plans. As a Registered Manager you will hold a Level 5 qualification, or be willing to work towards achieving this. You will have experience in supporting individuals who have Autism and/or learning disabilities. You will also be motivated and have experience of managing change. You will be responsible for delivering, in line with the statement of purpose, high quality care that remains fully compliant with CQC regulatory standards. This role will include responsibility for staff, budgets, resources and reporting. There will be an expectation to conduct night visits and be a Senior on Call on a rota basis. We are a unique and complex business and you will need to balance a hands-on, practical approach with a creative and innovative style and the ability to respond with positivity and a ‘can do’ mindset.
