Job Title: Communications & Engagement Assistant Apprentice – Level 4 Duration: 19 months Starting Salary: £24,637 (subject to 2025 review) Working Hours: Mon -Fri 09:00 - 17:00 Location: Olive Grove, Sheffield, S2 3GE Follow this link to find out more about the course - Public relations and communications assistant / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education What You’ll Do: As a Communications Apprentice your every day will be different One day, you may be supporting Streets Ahead to deliver effective communications for customers and the client, and another you may be contributing to the development and delivery of targeted behaviour change campaigns and supporting the promotion of positive messages. You will be also involved in creating leaflets, posters, newsletters, web, and social media content, as well as contributing to the development and delivery of innovative plans for social media campaigns to increase awareness of key messages and services. Providing effective and professional communication with all associated Teams, Stakeholders, Clients, and Customers. Monitoring campaign performance, analysing data daily through regular use of social listening tools and applying necessary action. Ensuring brand style and tone is consistent throughout all communication and marketing materials. Working with Safety Advisors to ensure Health and Safety responsibilities are met. Supports delivery of Marketing and Communications strategies and plans. Supports management of internal communication channels including, but not exclusive to Bi-monthly employee cascade, noticeboards & bi-weekly e-newsletter. Supports event management including, but not exclusive to school assemblies & careers activities, work experience & supported internships and health & safety focused activities/briefings. Supports employee engagement activities. Creates content for social media channels and contract website. Briefs designers & photographers on content across a range of formats. Why Join Us?
